This journey began during the 2014 World Cup when a passionate fan of Brazil and soccer, visited the country and tried açaí for the first time. The rich flavor was the spark to ignite the quest to have açaí served in New Orleans. our AÇAÍ BERRIES
QUALITY AÇAÍ FROM THE BRAZILIAN AMAZON
The açaí berries in our product come from different cities in the Amazon and Pará states of Brazil. Once picked they are processed in a factory located In Minas Gerais. Açaí berries are grown on palm trees and produce fruit twice a year in abundance. Farmers harvest the berries by hand climbing up palm trees and picking the berries rather than cutting down the trees. This method helps to preserve their rain forrest while also stimulating their economic growth for future generations.
